ULTIMATE Europe is expanding its production chain by taking a majority stake in its supplier partners in Turkey and Romania. A full-range supplier of automatic door systems and gangways and other products for the interior fitting of rail vehicles, ULTIMATE Europe is headquartered in Amstetten, Austria.
Made in Europe – together under one name
The shareholdings include a qualified majority in AFS-Teknic in Turkey, and O.D. Tehnic in Romania. Both companies’ names have been adapted to fit the new majority relationships. The Turkish subsidiary is now operating under the name ULTIMATE TAŞIMACILIK EKİPMANLARI A.Ş (ULTIMATE Turkey), while the Romanian company goes under the title ULTIMATE Transportation Equipment S.R.L (ULTIMATE Romania).
Even closer to its customers
This investment means that ULTIMATE Europe will be even better at satisfying both the direct market requirements in Turkey as well as the need for in-house metal manufacturing in Europe. In Romania, the focus is on projects involving rail vehicle interiors using their in-house manufacturing facilities for glass fiber plastic parts (GRP).
Ing. We can now meet the future requirements of the European market much more flexibly and with greater customer-orientation, and are convinced that this will bring considerable added value for many European users of public transport facilities in the rail sector.”
